Idolatry of skin color.
At some point everyone or their ancestors were oppressed. Most get over it and get on with life, stronger for the struggle and determined to be better people. Victimhood is not in their vocabulary especially for things that happened many years ago. Victimhood itself is a political tool for further oppression.
I believe anyone who embraces the idea they are a ‘victim’ no whether there is an element of truth or not will be held back. Truth is most people’s ancestors to a greater or lesser extent have been victimized for one reason or circumstance or another.

Of course the mentality that you’re oppressed creates a negative environment. Being treated as though they are oppressed, blacks have become less educated through believing the lie that education isn’t designed with them in mind so they just don’t pay attention. Also the idea that lowering expectations for blacks to help them is only dumbing them down. Many schools and even a state or two have dropped proficiency expectations for blacks to graduate high school. This only dumbs blacks down because as a high school graduate they can’t read, write or do math well or at all. Once again dumbing the black generation down. Make no mistake this is the plan of the deep Democrats, they couldn’t subjugate blacks openly anymore so they devised a new plan of destroying them and keeping them in low places and that’s through destroying the family (welfare system ) destroying their health (poor quality food for non rich) and destroying their intellect (poor education). It’s all a plan!!
