Ottawa announces .6M to support Black communities in justice system


The federal government is providing $8.6 million to help Black communities navigate the justice system. The federal health minister made the announcement in Montreal on Friday, saying the funding will improve access to legal information, lawyers and aid services. The program aims to address the overrepresentation of Black people in the justice system. Tim Sargeant reports.
