Police in Zanzibar are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of US influencer Ashly Robinson.
Robinson, known online as Ashlee Jenae, died whilst on holiday in Tanzania with her fiancé, Joe McCann. Authorities say she is believed to have attempted to take her own life and are awaiting the results of a forensic examination.
They are also questioning her partner as a witness. McCann had proposed to her just days before her death.

Sad about her death. But Tanzania has a lot of unsolved cases on their own people. Why are foreigners more important than the inhabitants?
I see a lot of comments about the police. How about the “European “owners of the resort. They had no camera footage ? The boyfriend must have bribed everyone there.
She died in the hotel, not in the hospital. But oh my- thats sad!
The way the reporter stated that the Hotel didn't confirm police allegations made it seem they deny it. But they declined to say anything at all because it's an on going investigation. Please, be more careful in the choices of words because they can give a very different meaning on the report.

Someone at the hotel knew she was alone and probably didn't like that she was with a white man. Someone from the hotel may have done it.
