Green, former Senior Obama White House official, co-founder of SkillSmart, CEO of EverGreen Labs, attorney, community organizer, and author of ‘ Too Precious to Lose: A Memoir of Family, Community, and Possibility.’

Green spent four and a half years serving in the White House as special assistant to President Obama. However, a devastating call cut his government career short: his beloved grandmother was on her deathbed. He chose to leave the White House to stay by her side and listen to her life story, which began in Quince Orchard, a thriving African American community forgotten by time that then only remained in the memory of a few elders.
