I plan to visit Burkina Faso in the upcoming year to research my family history, as my great-grandparents originated from there. They were two brothers; one emigrated to Guinea as a young man and did not return to his family, while his brother was sent to bring him back but also did not return. They were scholars.
According to the story, upon reaching Guinea in a village called Beyla, they were well received by the villagers. The community provided them with a wife, land, and students to teach, in exchange for agricultural work.
I have always been fascinated by this history and have contemplated returning to Burkina Faso someday to locate my family and compose a book about my ancestral heritage.

True. In Brazil for example the so-called elite, are the skank of the country. They are the ones forcing the country to maintain the Brazilian government working as their cash cow for their own benefits. The intentional companies "gangsters" keep the minerals and natural resources and set prices on the market for the raw products and do not pay taxes in the import and export business and the so-called elite "skank" rob the money that comes from taxpayers. Remember everything in Brazil has taxes on it. Wealthy people in Brazil pay no tax or minimum taxes in everything even in inheritance. They get privileged information about stocks and investments so they can be ahead of the game on money flow. They also plunge and exploit the territory in massive unsustainable developments for tourism and real estate and so many shady businesses, no one can believe, that people from the territory could have the opportunity to do so. Such as pairing with local and international traffic organizations with and without uniforms to profit in investments. They are above the law. Recently they've stolen retirement investments from old retirees and invented a bank to spend in illegal activities. This is only a few examples. They also controlled local police, miliciais and other criminals organizations. Everybody's direct and indirect work for middle and rich class in Brazil. I called them programmed slaves. 1964 and 2016 the middle class and wealthy class destroyed the industry and the possibility of rural and urban and economic and social reforms and they've financed a cup, so the country would remain the same, monopoly of large plantations few industries all subsided by the government, who cannot use the money for social or infrastructure developments and therefore an army of vulnerable population, who will do anything to survive. So now imagine that, a revolutionary government takes over power and puts an end to this and goes after those parasites and dismantle this mechanism. Who can stay and fight against it will do. The others are going to flee and try to destroy the revolution axing government from the outside. That's why it is correct to assume that that is all hands on deck when it comes to changing the "curse" of a corrupt society and country. Even the exploiters who capitulated and try to hang on the balance serving the corrupt classes that benefit from the "mechanism" , will fight against the revolution being afraid to lose the little they have. Some of them work directly with the middle class and wealthy people and they also will not accept changes easily, because they've been programmed to believe they are in many ways better than the ones on the outskirts of the power. So revolucionazing takes focus, time and effort. The first generation will have to be watched and and the secondary generation will be convinced and teach the third generation will be full force all hands on deck. I understand what the AES in the Sahel is trying to do is huge and I understand what their leadership and immediate and some segments of the population is going thru. specialty with Western and Eastern and even some of the South American Eastern and Western colonies countries and peoples trying to put their filthy hands on all the wealth not only on the Sahel but the whole continent of Africa.
