Tennessee’s historically Black medical college is expanding into Memphis, partnering with Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church to have its first ongoing presence in the city.

“Meharry is now officially a Memphis institution, and we are here to stay,” said Meharry Medical College President and CEO Dr. James E.K. Hildreth Sr. to about 200 attendees at a Monday, June 9, announcement.
