Brutal murder exposes robbery gang suspected of targeting women in South Africa



Thirty-year-old Olorato Mongale made sure to take all the measures necessary for a safe first date in South Africa’s biggest city, Johannesburg – she was later murdered and her body dumped at the dirt entrance of a random house.

South Africa has one of the highest femicide rates in the world – an average 15 women are killed a day, many by their intimate partners.

Police say they are working to solve the issue, but for many the change isn’t coming fast enough.

  1. Lord, have mercy, and please protect these women. There's so much sin and evil in this world. I think this video has just made me more firm in my desire NOT to holiday in/visit South Africa.

    She should of had something to protect herself. Even if it was defense classes for women , learn how to pray and take authority over the devil.

  6. This is horrid! Has the second perpetrator been found???? If it's a gang, have they ALL been apprehended? I hate that women have to go through this!

  7. Imagine choosing not to work, and robbing others! Such a waste of space and air.
    Women don't ever get into date's cars , take martial arts and defence classes, learn psychology to learn how to persuade for your life and lastly follow your instincts, never ignore them.

  8. The crime is South Africa is absolutely disgusting. Pity for such a beautiful country. I live in Asia where safety is not even a thought on my mind. I could never raise my family in SA.
