MADISON (WKOW) — Black Restaurant Week began with a shift in plans after the kickoff Jamboree event was canceled due to inclement weather.
Despite the cancellation, organizers are encouraging the community to support Black-owned businesses by visiting participating brick-and-mortar restaurants across the city throughout the week.
More events celebrating Black culinary talent are still planned, so stay tuned for updates as the week continues.
