BOISE, Idaho — The Idaho Department of Corrections (IDOC) is seeking the public’s help in finding an East Boise Community Reentry Center resident who walked away from the facility.

Officials said Jancee Peirsol was last seen on Friday around 4 p.m. at the East Boise Community Reentry Center.

She is described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall, 175 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. IDOC said she was wearing black pants and a black shirt, and was carrying a gray backpack.

The East Boise Community Reentry Center provides treatment programs and community service-based work to help IDOC inmates achieve a successful reentry into the community.

“Peirsol’s record includes convictions for Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Burglary, and Grand Theft in Ada County and Eluding a Police Officer in Elmore County,” IDOC stated. “She was eligible for parole on Dec. 21, 2025. Her sentence was scheduled to be satisfied on June 20, 2033.”
