  1. They messed up In the UK. They should have marketed it as the s’mores chocolate and kept to its original recipe and not introduced the terrible creamy version. Look at how peanut butter candy is now gaining market share when it was unheard of in the UK and the general public’s opinion was its disgusting.

  2. After reading about Hershey and what he is done for so many people, I will always buy Hershey if I have the chance. What an honorable man. We need more Founders and CEOS like him. And that was more than 100 years ago! Much respect, regards from Spain.

  3. I used to love Hershey kisses and milk chocolate with almonds, but some years ago I discovered that it didn't taste the same. So I stopped buying it. I guess they weren't making enough profit and decided to change things.

  4. One thing that I think is pretty neat is that my mom's dad once worked at Hershey's Chocolate factory or other. Can't remember and sadly we don't have the best relationship for reasons. Still enjoy the chocolate though even if I'm not a huge chocolate lover, but I do love giving my mom who does love it some! Cause chocolate always makes me think of my mom.

  5. Worst chocolate I've ever tasted. Cheap, vomit tasting crap. How Hersheys is still in business is beyond me. Inferior products which seem to be classed as edible for some reason.

  6. NOT SO MUCH THOSE BARS HERE IN CANADA BUT FOR ME, THOSE KISSES AT CHRISTMAS ARE A MUST. SEEING THOSE ADS WITH THEM RINGING THEIR TOPS WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN AND SUCH GREAT CHOCOLATE!!

  7. The irony is. It says on their candy. That it’s made with “bio engineered” ingredients. Essentially their candy is cheap “fake” garbage. With horrible ingredients in there for your body. You will be fired for not taking the vaccine. But it’s OK to put their garbage product into your body. This is not an opinion. Their product is garbage. Terrible for our bodies !!

  8. This story failed to mention one HUGE business hurdle for Hershey:
Worldwide, the KitKat brand is the biggest and most profitable brand and is owned by Nestle. In the USA, however, HERSHEY holds the exclusive license to KitKat. The licensing deal stipulates that IF the Hershey company is ever SOLD, they would lose the license for KitKat. That would result in the loss of value of Hershey by up to 15 percent.

Hershey also manufactures products under license for certain Cadbury branded products such as Cadbury Cream Eggs, Almond Joy and Mounds, and York Peppermint Patty. A sale of Hersheys would most likely also void these licensing deals, further eroding the value of The Hershey Company by as much as 45 percent.

So, any sale of The Hershey Company would slash the value of the company by nearly HALF and leave the remaining half much less robust and profitable. Who would want to buy a company that loses half of its value the day it is purchased? And would The Hershey Trust be willing to sell the company for only half of what is worth??

  9. Hershey needs an upscale, quality line of chocolate to complement it's cheap consumer chocolate. They could buy a small to medium high end producer, keep or tweak the brand, and then scale using Hershey supply chain and promotion teams. Also, create a low carb or reduced calorie line without using maltitol.
