Utah’s governor moved to tears in meeting with black community reps in aftermath of protests



Governor Gary Herbert was brought to tears during a meeting with people representing Utah’s minority communities, who shared stories of experiencing racism and called for reforms in policing, education, employment, housing and health care.

  1. I love Utah and my community. I’m glad Gov met with the activists to hear their concerns. It was diplomatic and hopefully nudges things in the right direction.

  2. "We certainly can look at reforms that are necessary" means absolutely nothing. Say specifically what you are going to do. How could you possibly show up to such an important meeting without some real actionable steps in mind. Nothing but a stall tactic. Crying….please.
