I can agree with her that when cops are dicks, it's to milk people for money but I never really thought of the government as being such a pressure on the police departments. The police are just victims in all this too.
I don't think is the lack of the nuclear family members that defines a kid rather than the culture they're brought up in. In LatinAmerica, a lot of kids got their father that up and leaves, in many instances, rather it's to go to the US or to get another woman. But most people turn out hardworking and many of whom I knw are normal and successful. It's not the lack of the father but the US's culture that puts the children in such a dependent position in terms of development. In LatinAmerica, many kids don't want to even see their father again, even if the mom is okay with him, because they develop faster emotionally. Latino & Asian kids do so well in this country because we bring our customs back from our countries. U can see how bad we do when we abandon our old customs. Few kids in America ever become adults mentally and u get all these riots as a result. Some call them riots but most can see tantrums from a bunch of adults that never grew up and accepted the fact that they gotta work a good job or 2 to succeed. The American born entitlement is wut harms our children and younger generation. Sunny brings up the important point that her generation is trying to fix the lack of a nuclear family, however the question remains, "will that fix anything?" Personally, I don't think that alone is enough. The other issues she brings up are really well defined too but they all root back to the lack of maturity in our society. If we got a society of adult-babies, who's gonna take responsibility?
She's not wrong. All republicans have been doing is pointing out what Democrats do. They don't actually offer any solutions other than "vote for us".
