I invited a friend from work to a BBQ at my house. A black guy. As he was leaving for the night he said “Ya’ll don’t have fights at your parties. How do you do that?” I was surprised at the question and just laughed. But he was 100% serious.

I am a light skinned Puerto Rican and have been attacked MANY times (jumped, robbed at knife point, bullet shot through my window a foot away from my neck, nose broken 3 times, jaw broken twice and have a metal plate…). All unprovoked…. simply for walking and being white skinned.
All by young black males under the age of 24…1 was an old homeless man.
