World leaders are gathering in the Indian capital New Delhi for the G20 summit. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi kicked off the weekend summit by welcoming the African Union as the group’s newest permanent member. Leaders are expected to address a range of issues, from climate change to the war in Ukraine. The G20 is a group of 19 of the world’s leading economies plus the European Union. The leaders of China and Russia are not attending the summit.

They brought Africa in so Russia (Wagner) and China (One Road policy) couldn't take over the continent. They did it while China and Putin are not there, there was no other way this would have happened. Overall this is a good thing for world security.

As an African/ Nigerian precisely, I want some one to comment on the "Objectives, Roles, relationship, agendas of these following groupings: Africa Continental Free Trade Area, African Union, BRICS, G20, Cop 26,27,28 etc, and the role the new technologies (e.g AI/Robotics) which Africa have no control thereabout will play with respect to scramble for African natural resources which are critical to the new green economy.
