It's no surprise at all. The likes of Al Sharpton, Faraclown and Jessie Jackson have all contributed to the rhetoric over the years. Sadly, it's a road of no return because of the social economic chasm that has developed over the years and, has gotten wider. Early American Jewry got involve with the slave trade and owned black slaves; something they've never formally apologised for. All of this pretty much lives the Jewish community isolated with a limited number of allies. That Black community, again, and unfortunately, will no longer be there to support them.
As a black American we cannot be on the wrong side of history.
