Opioid overdose deaths disproportionately kill Black Americans more than their white counterparts, so a town hall on Saturday at Martin University is hoping to address that.

  1. It's important to note that the statistics cited for the claim that African Americans die more are from 2002. In the last 22 years that number has changed to the complete opposite. Not that it should matter who has it worse, everyone should be helped unconditionally.
