The National Hurricane Center now says there is a high chance for tropical development in the Caribbean later this week.

  1. There are half mile high mountains in western Cuba and the islands of the Caribbean that this low, which in not even rotating yet will need to get past before it reaches the gulf. And lets not forget the persistant wind shear that has prevented multple lows from strengthening into a hurricane for most of the last several months.

  2. What….it will head for Louisiana just like Katrina!! They told us that Katrina was going to hit that sane area and then 3 days before the storm hit they revised it to hit Louisiana!! We had only 3 days to get ready as they informed us that it had changed its payh!

  3. Hurricanes seem to be getting worse, and they are an environmental hazard because debris will blow into the ocean and pollute the ocean and it is hard to clean up. And there is nothing that can be done to stop them. There are probably lots of buildings in Florida that were not built to withstand a hurricane. A Cat 5 will ruin towns and cities.
