  1. 😂 😂 😂 😂 They thought they were gonna finally grab the carrot dangled in front of them to keep them on the Democrat plantation. When will they ever learn?

  2. Shouldn’t the federal government be in charge of reparations? I’m not necessarily against them – but CA was never a slavery state so I don’t understand why CA taxpayers are funding reparations? Legally, why aren’t descendants of slaves suing the states where their ancestors were enslaved, if this is an issue that the states are responsible for rectifying?

  3. So if the reparations are paid out! , what happens about future black ppl?
    Are they owed reparations?
" hypothetical " if I got 6 black woman pregnant and rightfully thru the court system it was determined I owe support. Can I say I'm gonna just let the reparations for the futures black ppl cover my debt, when all the ppl are gone from now and theres zero attachment to those in the future, even tho I owe this now I'm not gonna pay but its ok right! It will all get settled in the future because reparations do that and thats how black ppl negotiate.

  4. I don’t know what Bradford is talking about. Reparations is CASH payments. Just like the cash payments the Japanese, Jews, and Native Americans received.

  5. Democrats tried to finesse us and only EXPOSED themselves to be the Antiblack racist dixicrats they've always been! Bradford is the only Democrat in office who deserves our vote.

  6. They have always mistreated us example. Police, jobs, also going to the hospital , death include . Black man missing family notified the police they took his body & did research on him . What year is this happening again in 2024 ? Genocide.

  7. California is a slave free state . In court the best source to win is by sueing the orgin of country that sold their people
Sue Africa I would imagine millions on people in United States would support Sue Africa

  8. For real reparations: they identify an actual victim of the offense in question.
They specify the abuses and damages.
They assign a dollar amount for their compensation.
    They pay the victim.
If the victim is deceased; they identify the closest living legal heir and pay them.
What is the name of the victim that you are trying to collect the unpaid reparations for?

  9. The government never owned slaves so why should anyone get reparations from the government. Who cares about it. If you want reparations ask the descendents of the families that owned slaves for money. Because i know my family didn't.

  10. "Where would the money come from?

Generally, advocates for reparations say that three different groups should pay for them: federal and state governments, which enshrined, supported and protected the institution of slavery; private businesses that financially benefited from it; and rich families that owe a good portion of their wealth to slavery.

"There are huge, wealthy families in the South today that once owned a lot of slaves. You can trace all their wealth to the free labor of Black folks. So, when you identify the defendants, there are a vast number of individuals," attorney Willie E. Gary told Harper's Magazine in November 2000, during the height of the last, big time of reparations talk. Gray was talking about how these families could be sued for reparations since they benefited directly from slavery.

As you might imagine, suing large groups of people to pay for reparations wouldn't go over well. Others have suggested lawmakers could pass legislation to force families to pay up. But that might not be constitutionally sound.

"I don't think you can legislate and have those families pay," Malik Edwards, a law professor at North Carolina Central University, told CNN. "If you're going to go after individuals you'd have to come up with a theory to do it through litigation. At least on the federal level Congress doesn't have the power to go after these folks. It just doesn't fall within its Commerce Clause powers."

The Commerce Clause refers to the section of the US Constitution which gives Congress the power to regulate commerce among the states."

Six questions about slavery reparations, answered

  11. Colonizers have removed us from the his-tory books the southern ne-gro Indian farmers vanished from 1865 to 2024d. 5 recanized infertility colonizers tribes paid instead of the ne-gro Indian tribes/ farmers. Just demonic.

  12. Waste of time, money & resources. No one owes reparations to descendants of slavery. Sick people trying to profit off a deceased ancestor’s suffering.

  13. Society is tired of hearing about something you will never get. Stop wasting our taxpayers' dollars with your studies. Stop begging and move along. Society said NO!!!!!No means no….

  14. Why not ask Africa for reparations? They made you slaves, raided your villages, killed your people, then sold you to us. It’s like you want to lock up drug dealers instead of the suppliers. Is it just easier to ask white people for money? All this after we had a black President for 8 years?

  15. Britons were enslaved, particularly by Barbary corsairs between the 16th and 18th centuries, and British merchants were also major participants in the Atlantic slave trade, transporting enslaved West Africans to the New World.

    How do I claim
