Russia is courting Africa. This weekend, Russia welcomed African ministers and business delegations to the Black Sea resort city of Sochi. It’s the second summit Russia has hosted in the last month after the BRICS summit in Kazan in late October. Moscow is reaching out to the global south with these forums. The Kremlin says that the successful forums show that the West’s plan to isolate Russia has failed.

Why is it that African Summits are held outside Africa? Is there nowhere in Africa for an African Summit? I will be pleased to see an Asian, European and or American (North or South) Summit in Africa, maybe Adis Ababa or Pretoria, maybe Rabat, Cairo or Alexandria, if they think Abuja, Nairobi or Akra are not safe for non African Envoys to be hosted on the Continent (to discuss African matters)…🤔

First and foremost: Africa is the most divided continent on the planet because the common man and woman has “ALLOWED” him and herself to see themselves as subjects of France, England, America, Saudi Arabia, Spain and every other international entity that has been controlling the African brain since the Berlin Conference. If Moscow is sincerely interested in helping Africa become a global power, it must first focus on uniting that continent into one big industrial giant capable of feeding itself, eliminating borders, establishing its own banking system, printing its own currency, forming one military, and kicking out all foreign religious institutions.

I am so impressed by China and Russia. They have looked at the problem over a 10-20-year cycle and have moved to create a world where we don't rely on the dollar to survive. Africa has asked the West for more respect and fair business, but it seems they are preoccupied with illegal immigrants and social problems. At the same time, Russia and China are focused on the bigger picture.
