Women with fertility issues in Nigeria are being tricked into parting with hundreds of dollars, duped into believing they’re pregnant, and delivering babies that are often trafficked.
Africa Eye’s undercover investigation exposes one of these scammers, who guarantees results but says delivery won’t happen without payment for an expensive ‘drug’.
This documentary investigates how these scammers prey on women so desperate for a baby that they choose to ignore the reality that is obvious to most. We speak to those who have fallen for this scam, and expose the link to baby trafficking.
Yemisi Adegoke reports on the crippling stigma of infertility in Nigeria and uncovers the criminal networks who profit from it.

This used to happen in the UK only a few decades ago.
Young and unwed mothers were regularly sent away to 'girls homes' where their babies would be taken.

I watched the movie baby factory on netflix and thought it was just a movie until watching this now. So these things happen in real life 😮!?
Next do a documentary on the fake abortion providers in Africa. They’re killing and permanently damaging women.
This poor babies will grow never knowing who their true mothers are 😞
Corruption is(and always has been), rife throughout Africa as is witchcraft. I dont think most westerners understand just how deep rooted and inherant these practices really are over there and because its so deeprooted and inherant it's not going to stop anytime soon if at all > this is just a needle in a haystack
Thanks for this beautiful report 😢😢
Have there been any arrests made?
Nigeria is a sick. sick place. Im sorry.
What kind of evil mind conceives of such a heinous scam?? God help us. Really devils walking amongst us😮
Seems Nigeria needs religion. They need a higher power to be accountable to. Even the society saying adoption is unacceptable? In what world??😮
To think of doing something like this? This person must have some mental health issues
Is there any option to adopt out legally?
The number of cameoonian women who travel to Nigeria for this is alarming. I wish our government educate women on this

I went to Nigeria once for work. Was the worst experience of my life. Scams left and right, Over population, Pollution. Was horrible.
As long as Nigerians stay in Nigeria and West Africa, I am Ok. Don't bring your nonsense to other African countries.
This stuff happens everywhere (not condoning it) but it's only Nigerians own the whole world will see
