Sudan Threatens Actions Against Kenya Over RSF Support | Firstpost Africa | N18G
Sudan’s army-backed government has vowed to take escalatory actions against Kenya for hosting activities by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Last week, the Kenyan capital Nairobi hosted a gathering of RSF and its allies where they signed a charter for the formation of a parallel government in Sudan. Sudan has called it a hostile act and blatant interference in its internal affairs. It has now threatened several retaliatory actions against Kenya. It says it will submit a memorandum to the African Union and other international organisations demanding measures against Kenya. It will also take economic actions, including banning the import of Kenyan products. Watch for more details.
