A ferry speedboat carrying 48 people sank off the coast of the Maldives on March 2 after rough waves flooded the engine.
Video footage shows water rushing in as passengers struggled to inflate faulty life jackets before jumping into the sea, where they remained stranded until rescue boats arrived.
The incident occurred amid a yellow weather alert for storms and strong winds.

I'm going to need clarification on the engine flooding like it took on water from the ocean or it flooded in its own fluids and would not start but my main question is what happened to cause the boat to take on water because boats can float without a motor going and also the engine was flooded how are they moving do they have an additional engine like a jumbo engine this is sketchy
I’d be scared of sharks.
