  1. Every major even medium journalist media house has multiple platforms how can they be behind? sounds like lack of interest.Has there been a poll if anybody is even interested in local news besides it showing up on a YOU or something? its dead boring

  2. Im not buying your loonie left media. google YT FB should just hide it and then SA will be filled with 100% less negative, dumb and evil stories. Should also ban all SAs LGBT and palestine news. SA was a Christian country evil left evil communist anc turned SA into pro-Crime country

  3. Why should google pay propagandists to spread more propaganda, YOU are using google's platforms not the other way around stop living in fairy tale land.

    Edit: 'platform' -> 'platforms'

  4. i don't understand the argument that google is leeching off of media companies and not putting in any work when the fact of the matter is google is the reason people (myself included) even come across a lot of news articles in the first place

  5. Mainstream media and traditional news outlets have long published biased content here in SA (everywhere else, if we are being honest). With the rise of independent podcasters, many people are paying less attention to mainstream media. This biased reporting has discredited journalism, and the investigative journalism used to inform the public has largely disappeared. Additionally, the way some political parties, even private corporations/entities, are presented reflects the poor quality of journalism today, revealing favouritism instead of unbiased reporting based on facts.

Media is just a propaganda tool at this point.

  6. Google nothing to do with this. Mainstream media is boring n gone
Google pulls out then finger in ..
2025 no more newspaper that’s gone . Change your profession if can’t make money .
We have choices . Free choice .
    Advertising has changed too .
Platforms can’t be controlled . Great we don’t have to listen to leftist woke nonsense . No more SABC . 🎉

  7. I for one don’t watch any SA . You not on word stage . Perhaps you are not attracting the audience you want . Sure y will have a big anc audience . Can’t stand your propaganda leftist nonsense . Amen

  8. There is a lot of independent journalism that has become relevant. Big media houses is no longer relevant, simply due the quality of their journalism. So, good riddance to all the media houses with their rubbish. They dont ask relevant questions. Biznews probably one of the best currently in SA

  9. So Poor Old South African News Media now needs to be funded by Google because of the ANC Governments Competition Commission so called report ! The general standard of South Africa''s Journalism is very low ! Google should just show a middle finger !

  10. Google owns you nothing, you need to pay them.
The reporters can't speak properly English, and the reports are always one sided, government pr systems.
If anybody can create a you tube so can all these reporters do & stop crying.
Yes I am sick of reporters with em and ah 10 times in one sentence.

  11. How to keep the media alive? By firing shameless, lying propagandists like you and employ real journalists who still imderstand the meaning of impartiality and truth seeking.
