New details involving Joshua Riibe, Sudiksha Konanki, and the tragedy in the Dominican Republic

An American, Joshua Riibe, who was the last person believed to have been seen with missing University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki in the Dominican Republic was back in the United States on Wednesday, nearly two weeks after, he said, authorities forced him to stay in the Caribbean nation and confiscated his passport. NBC’s Jesse Kirsch has the latest from Punta Cana.

  1. How does she just vanish so quickly? He said he didn’t see her and thought she left, but she was so drunk she left her sandals and clothing? Did he really save her the first time or he knew she probably drowned already and he couldn’t save her so he made up a story? But how could you be okay to walk to the beach chair and pass out, but if were exhausted and drunk, you should have passed out where you puked. It’s just weird. That’s all he remembers? I feel like she may have drowned, but not in the sense of what he’s saying. He may have had something to do with her drowning, or he saved himself rather than her, cus after seeing her in knee deep water, she just vanished in thin air?

  2. He shouldn’t get away with it that quick as soon as he walks in he looks fir cameras

How on earth will they let him leave the country theres no body! Until she is found they should keep him

  3. God bless Virginia America my home sweet home 🏡 🙏🏻 ❤ I'm in my first home Hawaii ❤ when I first heard this it broke my heart. God bless her soul, spirit, family ❤

  4. Her friends and the RIU resort employees need to all be investigated.
    1. If her friends were in possession of her phone 📱, didn't come back to check on her and notified authorities 12 hrs later, how did they know she was missing to report it?
    2. In an 2019 online article 📰, an American woman visited another resort in Punta Cana and told her story of an employee abduction she fell victim to. She stated that she was going to the beach 🏖️ from her room, passed the hotel bar area. As she was walking she was violently grabbed from behind and taken into a maintenance room and in return taken underground to a hidden room on the resort. She was tortured to assaulted and almost died. She survived to tell her story!
Joshua could be a Dr. Jekyl and Mr Hyde, but her friends to the RIU Resort have to be considered, I question if the resort released all of its surveillance footage of Sudisksa!!!!

  5. At first, I thought he was definitely guilty. But then again, he might not. Because he was in drunken state. He passed out and went back to hotel. he assumed that she got out of water, he thought that she was safe and too drunk to be of much help. He didn't really ask about her because they just met each other that night and also he was too wasted to even notice or realise on himself. Let alone the girl he barely knew. He was too wasted to help or even aware on what really happened. And that's why he gave a couple of different versions .I think this is accidental drowning. The friends should be blamed because they should be close enough with her to care and worried for her. Not the man who has just met the girl and especially when he himself was so wasted

  6. I don't think he's the killer. Nobody who killed someone would have hang around at the same location for few hours and return back to hotel .u would have fled immediately. He passed out at the beach and she accidentally drowned

  7. If this strange man have a girlfriend where he lives back at his home and looking for friendship in DR. Can you trust this man. Sad sad sad for this girl. Indian girls are decent girls that’s all I know so sad sad for this girl and the parents

  8. Joshua riibe is the main culprit and US govt gave him new passport and bought him back to USA and this worst domanican police and court gave clean chit in this case…wow what a government… how could they leave riibe ,he is the last person who have seen sudiksha

  9. Oh yes, act cool. Look up as if not guilty ….i oray her body shows up …Dear lord let this comebto light soon may her body be found dear God …justice forbthis young lady .its my opinion that he is guilty as hell

  10. I think what happened was both were drunk, in water he forced her to go beyond a kiss which she denied. Both might have had a flight or slight struggle, and in anger, hurt her to death and he left the scene.

  12. 😐🙄 yeah, and it's just makes him look so innocent. As if anyone really thinks that, what a joke.. History continues to repeat itself with these same situations.. smh r.i.p.

  13. I don’t understand why he has to murder her, while she is already hanging out with him. Otherwise he is psycho. If he really killed her, how did her body disappear? Not sure if they recovered her body yet.

If whatever he says is real, they both may have passed out on the beach shore and somebody (one or group) may have abducted her?? Possible right?
