Why couldn't France do that over the years
No matter what we may think. South East Asians countries who are emerging now such as South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, China and very soon Vietnam have at the beginning authoritarian governments. The governments had set clear objectives, got sovereignty and lived by the rules which lead them to a real development. They are succeeding.
We may have to do the same. Ibrahim Traore is imitating them and is succeeding. We need to think of all those things and make some difficult decisions. We are not yet sufficiently developed in our mind to understand the kind of democracy they have imposed on us. This system can only serve the interest of our old colonial masters and keep us poor.

This president has probably done more in his three years than are the presidents who have been in power for 10:20 or even 30 years.
A couple of other accomplishments that come to my mind are that of expanding medical access throughout the nation and quite significantly, providing the Burkina Faso military with necessary equipment, intelligence, supplies and manpower in order to effectively push back against terrorist groups.

I recently heard about this amazing man and I'm so happy for the people of Africa that he exists. I'm excited to see his future progress. I'd like to comment on one thing you said. Not everybody thinks Africa is the bottom. I'm American and I see so much potential for Africa. If all the countries of Africa worked together they could be the world's superpower. There is so much potential for all the people of Africa and I believe you will get there. Let this man lead the way and let the other countries of Africa follow his example.
