LIVE: DR Congo Repatriates US Coup Plotters Amid Mineral Talks | Firstpost Africa | N18G
DRC has repatriated three Americans after commuting their death sentences over a failed coup in Kinshasa—just as talks with the US on a mineral deal gain momentum. The trio—aged 23 to 37—were among dozens of foreigners sentenced last May. Their return coincides with advanced negotiations on strategic minerals between DRC and the US. Leading the talks is Massad Boulos—Trump’s senior Africa advisor and son-in-law. His visit follows a bold offer from DRC’s president—promising Trump direct mineral access in exchange for US support in the peace process.

I like this correspondent from Kenya!
I would like to see the Indian woman back!
This seems like a Hollywood movie!
Very useless just like Mobutu. I knew from day 1 that this guy is not for Africa and therefore Congo
What's about those children that were killed
How convenient the United States can step in to provide stability and come away with a lucrative minerals-rate earth metals deal. The heist and exporting of DRC's wealth continues.
Why does the host keep butting in with one-syllable utterings while her guest is speaking? Let the lady speak! Very annoying and interruptive 😠.
Great guest !
