DRC has repatriated three Americans after commuting their death sentences over a failed coup in Kinshasa—just as talks with the US on a mineral deal gain momentum. The trio—aged 23 to 37—were among dozens of foreigners sentenced last May. Their return coincides with advanced negotiations on strategic minerals between DRC and the US. Leading the talks is Massad Boulos—Trump’s senior Africa advisor and son-in-law. His visit follows a bold offer from DRC’s president—promising Trump direct mineral access in exchange for US support in the peace process.

  1. How convenient the United States can step in to provide stability and come away with a lucrative minerals-rate earth metals deal. The heist and exporting of DRC's wealth continues.

  2. This will happen more because Congo is a super rich country and they dont want to build infrastructure, agriculture , to create factoryto have jobs , schools and good roads to move goods quickly. People are suffer in rich country

  3. Both Congos and Angola are super riches countries but the government in those countries dont think that agriculture and great roads to move goods fast so people can eat. Rich countries but beg aids like they are poor
