South African farmers in Citrusdal export millions of oranges to US markets. They’re worried that Trump’s tariff uncertainty is putting thousands of African jobs at risk.

  1. South Africa produces 11 billion US dollars of gold every year. Also diamonds palladium silver also is a major producer of uranium. Where all that money goes ? Why are so poor ?

  2. The Make Britain UK and America US Great again campaign / card… Folks I don’t believe in coincidence. United Hustlers? Seems like an indirect way of normalising and masking greed by appealing to the rich minority and exploiting the narrow / shallow minded majority. Swindlers United sounds better. Oh wait, are we going with the nothing to see here strategy? My bad. 😆

  3. The EU should get some of the best scam artists currently in EU prisons and teach our negotiators how to spot a scam. Don the Con will try to choke us and then get something for nothing. Maybe consider many many many nothing and sell them as something so he can show those to the American people as his prize.

  4. South Africa should get their former Ambassador to the United States to Negotiate a Trade Deal for them because a 500% Tariff would be perfect for South Africa. 😮

  5. The dwarfs of Europe just got saved by china tough stance on tarrifs on usa …. But once china n usa reach an agreement….Trump will come hard on the dwarfs of Europe the likes of Ursula Vander layen….

  6. Trump stood for and campaigned on Tariffs and judging by his first term and his record of meaning what he says, its surprising that many countries are crying wolf when he implements what he promised all along.

  7. Pivot to other markets… Canada has started buying its fruits and veggies from other markets and currently we are buying grapes from South Africa and they are great!

  8. 8:16 Chinese products prices will decrease for all markets but the US. All the production that cannot be sell to the US will be offered in special discount prices to the whole world.

  9. All the monies given in USAID that was used to commit evil in Africa instead of it benefiting the people Trump will take back by hook or crook just like he wants Ukraine to pay back through mineral deal. Africa has no leadership and will be ripped off

  10. africa, and countries in africa need to become more unified. some countries are so divided and worry about their own interests causing more divisions.

africa has always been too divided, unity is the only solution for the long term. sharing information, creating a one platform, and not being complacent all these last 100 years.
nothing wrong with Trump, something wrong with the lack of foresight from the rest of the world.

this marriage was meant to fail at some stage. now is better than the past or future. take advantage of the current situation, come together, and lower desires, flatten the salary brackets, and work time brackets, so all have a piece of the pie..

    Africa is a rich continent..

  11. SA farmers must thank AfriForum for putting the spotlight firmly on SA forgetting they own ALL the farms that export to the US. You know what, if those products can't go to the US then the local markets will become cheaper. Talk about scoring an own goal

  12. business doesn't thrive in uncertainty 🤔 hm… now they know what WE THE PEOPLE feel, UNCERTAINTY .. ALL THE TIME… from the business classes volatility on basic commodities for us not not starve.

sympathy for white South Africans… nope.. not falling for that trick.
