#ICE agents left a 13-year-old boy on the sidewalk after arresting the person he was with during a vehicle stop. According to Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin, the driver—who was not the boy’s parent and was described as an undocumented immigrant—was taken into custody. DHS says the boy’s parent was informed of the situation but declined to pick him up, stating he could walk home since it was nearby. City Councilor Colleen Bradley-MacArthur told @NBC10Boston she and a few volunteers escorted the boy home on foot.
