Trump says he’d ‘take plane’ if South Africa offered one

In a press conference with South African president Cyril Ramaphosa, US President Donald Trump said he’d accept a plane from South Africa if they’d offered to gift him one.

His comments came after Ramaphosa jokingly remarked he was “sorry” he didn’t have a plane to offer Trump, after the US President sparked controversy by agreeing to accept a plane gifted by Qatar as the new Air Force One, the country’s presidential aircraft, in a move confirmed by the Pentagon on Wednesday.

President Trump’s relationships with foreign leaders, particularly Gulf leaders’ reported investments in Trump family business ventures, have raised concerns that his foreign policy may contain serious conflicts of interest.

Ramaphosa was visiting the White House to defuse tensions following claims by Elon Musk and other Afrikaners that the government was carrying out a “genocide” against South Africa’s white population, claims since proven to be untrue.

The US last week accepted its first influx of white “refugees” from South Africa in a move associated more with political symbolism than humanitarian concern.

  1. Thats why its better for trump to be potus. And not kamala. Because trump doesnt wear a mask, we can at least see the agenda. With kamala, like hilary clinton, theyd be wearing 5 masks; and you wouldnt know what the agenda is.

  2. What kind of president calls reporters names because they ask him hard questions. No trump your the idiot because you act like a man child when you are caught.

  3. Ramaphosa's OK, but that was one of the best political jabs I've ever seen, and to do it to a US President, to his face even, takes balls. The added bonus being it went completely over Trump's head because he's a moron.
