Not USA, but You, SA

A handful of Afrikaners recently packed their bags and left the country, eyeing a new life in the United States, claiming persecution and dispossession of land, and even a genocide of Afrikaners in this country.

But South Africans’ rejection of those discredited narratives has been overwhelming. This weekend in Pretoria, a fresh voice emerged from within the Afrikaner community.

The civic movement Betereinders has launched a new campaign called “Not USA, but You, SA.” Their message? Afrikaners are not victims fleeing the country. Instead, they are choosing to stay, to stand firm, and to build a future right here at home.

And what better way to celebrate that spirit than the true South African traditions of a good old braai and a soccer match! So, if you’re in Pretoria today, why not join the Betereinders, the local Afrikaner community and their so-called “oppressors” and take to the soccer field and huddle around the braai fire later?

Let’s hear more about this initiative from organiser Johan Erasmus

  1. Look up the Rhodesian Bush Wars, they have been keeping the white farmer mooiiders written down now since 1991 (didn't before) … sick. The off a certain amount each year viciously, they didn't just come from Poland, the slaves that look like me we enslaved by Africans … they were busy selling their people, buying us (Slavics/Irish, Asian, Indian, and so on) . When it was "over" we were offed or sometimes given land or had the option to buy land, from decent owners. We belong, stop offing us and not saying it, I remember 1991 and Africa was animalistic to the wf, and they were wrong. Don't ask for return to show you how to grow, you karma took care of that.

  2. The “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) theme is deeply racist. When was America ever great for African Americans or Native Indians? It’s a racist slogan that promotes a return to slavery, racism, and segregation.

  3. first of all ill like to commend the associates for choosing the location , which shows that we are fighting different battles, be it crime, development, jobs etc. and that those who claim that there is genocide in SA are just a group of people not in agreement with transformation for equal opportunities, looking to manifest the apartheid dream.

  4. Politicians devide us guys because they want to stay relevant as Politicians otherwise black and white in SA we live as a Rainbow 🌈 Nation my sonis attending an Afrikaans school he speaks Afrikaans fluently 😊
