The South African Police Service national crime intelligence unit has found and seized the VW polo that was allegedly used in the murder of 30-year-old Olorato Mongale.
A multidisciplinary team led by the SAPS anti-kidnapping task team seized the vehicle at a panel beater workshop in Phoenix, Durban.
A memorial service will be held at the Mahube Tumelo Hall in Bloemfontein today from 12.

How do we get hold of the anti-kidnapping task team and human trafficking units? The police stations are failing us. They call the missing person then tell you to come back when you have found them. Even after the victim has been found and the social workers have forwarded all the evidence from the check-ups and testimony of the victim. You still don't get any response. We are not all connected to well known individuals and the social media trending tactic is not ideal for the victims in pain, especially children.

I have a problem with how we treat crime as a Nation. We get it some crimes gets popular coz of social media noise. But Police shouldnt be just entertaining these crimes only. They said, same way Oratile was murdered n found, there are two other women who suffered the same fate but ull never hear their names or families being interviewed n speaking to us. Maybe that way, they will get more tracks n info on these criminals.
We go to the US to say, SA has crime issue which affects everyone n dispused the white Afrikaners genocide claim but turn to do the same on other crimes by concentrating on them n covering them so extensive like they only crime that took place. Lets deal with crime as crime n treat all the cases as serious as this particular one where reporting is done proper with follow ups regardless of the victims societal status n their backgrounds. And crimnals know this, they know some people can be killed n it wont even make the news n their story goes cold, same crime as this, they happen everyday. I live in Katlehlong n same day this happened a young lady was also found dead in the bushes with gunshot wounds, cover that too, cover every crime even when gents are brutally murdered, whites, coloureds, indians, etc. Stop isolating our crime, lets fight this rife crime as one big problem not only affecting women n Afrikaners but South Africa.
