The January 6 "protestors" whom Trump pardoned were responsible for injuring 172 police officers and paritcipating in an insurrection resulting in nearly $3 million dollars in damage to the historic Capitol building. So no, it is not "very clear" what the president supports. It is very clear to those of us keeping careful watch, that violence is permissible for this administration so long as it does not conflict with said administration's pernicious interests and viewpoints.
