De Beer: Keeping up with the Muppets of SA Politics: CR, Mashatile, Motshekga, Godongwana, JZ, Zille

In the latest Sunday Show with Neil De Beer, the President of the United Independent Movement, and Chris Steyn of BizNews, a range of hot topics are on the agenda: President Cyril Ramaphosa telling Israel and Iran to enter into peaceful dialogue; Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana wanting full public funding for all political parties; the over R200 million spent on international travel by Cabinet members over the past year; Deputy President Paul Mashatile and his wife’s accommodation in Japan costing R900,000 for four nights; military officials also splurging on world travel while the South African National Defense Force (SANDF) is sitting with a 41.2 billion Rand budget shortfall; the ongoing chaos at former President Jacob Zuma’s MKP; the likelihood of Democratic Alliance (DA) Federal Council Chair Helen Zille running for Jo’burg Mayor; the Eastern Cape African National Congress (ANC) denying that the regional office hid blankets destined for the victims of the recent disaster in Mthatha; the Bela Bill battle – and the need for a revision of the Constitution. De Beer also shares the results of his Twitter Poll in which 98.2% of respondents said “No” to the National Dialogue. And he delves into the feuds that may see former Zambian President Edgar Lungu buried on South African soil.

  1. ¾Hi Neil De Beer. Here is my opinion on South Africa and its current situation. Mandela's release was planned, negotiated and discussed. Mandela then made the announcement, , while still serving as the President of South Africa, that he wouldn't seek a 2nd term. Mandela also divorced Winnie not long after he became a free man and married the late Mozambique President, Samora Michelle's, widow., wife, ex wife. Mandela came to the realisation while still serving as the President that he needs to step back, stay out of politics and keep his mouth shut . It is very sad to me that Mandela was used as a "foot in the door" by the ANC party to exercise a prolonged and calculated revenge on the oppressive regime.

  2. Johannedburg is kaput and soon Pretoria… Mara Eish ANC why… you’ve pooped on the nation and can’t even clean up… Go and perfect your potty training at home asseblief…

  3. 😂😂😂Mr. DE Beer what did you have before the interview? Was is the Beer🍻😂😂😂😂😂…. 🫵🫵🫵 You hit a nail straight 😅😅😅

  4. The ANC gravy train is in full steam ahead, but monies are in short supply! The use ofthe words "the muppets" is very appropriate. Blacks don't know how to wisely manage monies, but they sure know how to spend or thieve it for their own pleasures or own pockets. Strange but true—not one found with his hands in the cookie jar have seen the inside of a court or jail!

  5. NO country can grow from those who's eating from the crip funded by 6% minority and foreign handouts. One needs a nation who builds the crip. The West is going to get the upper hand if citizens dont fight the evil of bankrupsy and famine by the paid ANC, EFF, and MK. Thx Neil.

  6. That’s because those Europeans that’s been there stealing the resources out is still there stealing the resources now when are they gonna get up and leave, and stop stealing those resources out so the people can enjoy their resources on their land.

  8. 🤔🛑🛑🛑 We need to organise a protest against the ANC when the G20 is live, we will have worldwide reach as the G20 will will be covered by media, mainstream or private.

Come people let us unite and do this..!!!!!!

  9. An inspiring show. However it leaves me once again disillusioned by the facts of the :
    Useless ANC leadership
Unaccountable, high expenditure when SA can I'll afford it
Incompetent, uneducated, poor performance & non planning by government & provinces (EC)
A glimmer of light is Helen in Jhb, desperately needed.
    Thanks for the show😊

  10. Imagine how
many street people could have been placed in a shelter!! With a vegetable garden that they can learn to propagate and grow and feed the community ❤

  11. Neil,
Did the thought ever cross your mind  especially while working within or closely with members of the ANC  that perhaps these individuals, despite their role in the liberation struggle, might not possess the capacity or vision to successfully govern a complex, modern country like South Africa? A country with sophisticated institutions, a diverse economy, and enormous challenges?
