So despite France being in control of BF for many years they could not find solutions for these issues in BF. The Europeans just talked about hunger but never could find solutions. Same for security. Same for education. Why was it those truly in charge told us time and again that solutions have not been found? It seems obvious to me that if you wanted to keep some level of servitude you keep your targets as poor as possible, as hungry as possible, as uneducated as possible, minimize their communication with each other and in good time you get your slaves back. And don't tell me no one thinks this way, that is what the French showed after Haitians freed themselves from enslavement..
