Let's be real first, this isn't for just Akron but throughout the US. No society can stand without God and His standards, not our sinful desires and ways, without a family that consists of a man who is a father and a woman as a mother both working together to bring up responsible children and education, one that teaches how to think and not to just take test and comply.
If you look at the majority of the mayhem and chaos in our hoods it's due to the lack of these crucial elements. But the goal and the aim start at home. The streets, music, societal hypocrisy, and media are raising our children to be nihilists and narcissists. Because they see we don't care.

Everything sounds great, and I have abundant respect for Pastor Kemp. But unless more resources are available for African American fathers, we may continue to see these problems. Having a mentor can be amazing and life changing for the better, but having a relationship with your biological father is even better. There needs to be changes to the current family court laws. African American men are incarcerated at very high numbers. The youth need people they can relate to, whom God has delivered from the street life. There will always be a disconnect unless the youth have respect for the person speaking wisdom about leaving the street life. Shout out 100 Black Men of Cleveland. We love you and appreciate you.
