Birthright citizenship was written to grant the newly freed slaves that were already in America citizenship after the Civil War. It was never intended for the world to use America as a maternity ward and a cheat to citizenship. Traveling to another country is a privilege, not a right. The only people who have a right to birthright citizenship in the US in today's age are its legal citizens.

Not only Nigerians give birth in the US. Statistically, birth tourism are practiced by all countries. Indians, Asias, Africans etc. am not so sure about Europeans , but every country has violated this rule.
Nigerians need to fix their country and stop fleeing everywhere else in the world. Be a contribution, not a burden.
