  1. I fail to understand why there's a cast on disproving a clip? The truth remains the same.
DW seems to have a broken narrative that portrays SA as a glowing example of democracy. The facts could not be further from DWs' narrative.
SA is in DIRE trouble and needs international intervention for ALL its peoples.

  2. I am from Durban, South Africa. I am 67 years old and know Durban well. My forefathers/mothers arrived in Durban from Germany in a small wooden sail ship after 3 months of sailing. They landed onto the sandy beaches of Durban over 160 years ago and Durban then was a tiny village of only a few 100 people.

I do not follow Alex Jones and yes, those pictures were of the main streets in Durban during the infamous July 2021 Riots. During my childhood I was told by well-traveled tourists and relatives from Germany, that Durban is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Today there many areas of Durban that look like those terrible pictures. Durban has deteriorated dramatically over the decades. The political elites are managing the city badly, they are extremely corrupt, I have witnessed gangsterism, violence and gun shoot outs. Poverty is huge, there are many squatter camps, thousands of beggars at traffic lights, some being mothers with babies and even street children.

The affluent business sector has moved north to Umhlanga Rocks which looks lovely at the moment, but I feel, if the corrupt wealthy elite socialist politicians still rule, I doubt if it will still will look good in 10 years’ time. The justice system is weak in South Africa, the elite corrupt politicians, are seldomly convicted and often rule like gangsters as they have the power with little to no checks and balances.

Some world billionaires have created NGO’s where one asks, are they actually helping people or causing chaos and despair? One well educated Zulu friend once told me that people who shot Racism the loudest are often themselves the biggest racist or have something to hide to divert the narrative.

What amuses me in Germany is the German so called liberal media, their producers and script writers are earning and living well, but are clueless of the real world outside, they say they are social activists and unbiased. Do they understand the reality and view the situation from all angles or just take a political stance. Do the politically correct German media people gladly share much of their personal wealth with the majority poor world society? My question is if the liberal German Media like DW, saving Western civilization and democracy?

South Africa and Africa needs an African born Milei who understands Africa well. Africa is full of young entrepreneurs that require the correct platform to blossom on this beautiful continent with vast resources and potential.

  3. I dont mind I like Alex Jones I hate the left wing for the simple reason South Africa is a on the brink of collapse financially, politically and morally.

  4. The truth about the July 2021 riots is being swept under the carpet, because it was an ANC vs. ANC gig. It was an orchestrated 'insurgency' planned at least one week before it broke out – not merely an impromptu protest sparked by public anger or -despair. Many incidents of public violence in South Africa are orchestrated in this way: Politicians, trade unionists, etc. air vague threats in the media, then the 'mission details' are communicated underground. This particularly deadly and destructive incident in July 2021 is now basically forgotten without a proper investigation and no real justice except for a few opportunistic looters caught in the act. For comparison, the well known Marikana massacre that occurred in 2012 that killed 44 people sparked a multi year judicial commission of enquiry and is widely commemorated every year, while the July 2021 riots that killed 350+ people does not get a mention. The same goes for 'farm murders' in South Africa – swept under the carpet. Denying that they occur is further from the truth than exaggerating it or mislabel it as "genocide". I'm an Afrikaner in South Africa and while farm murders don't affect me directly, as I live and work in the cities, they do occur and there are 1000+ white farmers murdered on farms, consistent with publicly verifiable lists of names and details. It is a very big problem albeit for very few people. Eventually, if too many of them pack up and leave, we'll all go hungry as the rest of us don't know how to produce all that food.

  5. PS it was not national, it was ONLY cause that corrupt Zuma was imprisoned, so the people of Durban protested, only cause they saw him as a victim. Nothing to do with covid whatever else reason was stated.

  6. Thank you DW, thank you Germany…🇩🇪…we also have your ambassador here who is absolutely amazing…think his name is Andreas pechke, he is probably more south African than German 🚀…. amazing human being from an amazing country ♥️🇩🇪, as for jones and his type, well… nothing to say

  7. The fact that it happened (regardless of the reason) is the problem

The collapse of the police force and cultural issues

Before people start jumping – I am South African and live here

  8. The USA State Department's Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor have also recently confirmed the murder of farmers based on their investigation
