  1. Dialogue is absolutely needed 8n order to ensure that challenges and solutions are presented accross the entire leadership spectrum, accross all spheres of government, political and private sectors.

Remembering that it's not only government that drives the economy and social well being. All sectors of the economy must bring issues for an informed and balanced solution.

We say big ups to the legacy foundations.

The biggest challenge is when you come down to the community.

Once you deliberately bring in political parties through their different forums to drive the dialogues on the ground, then you are waisting money.

Political parties must refrain from depending on government officials and different constituencies to bring up issues to leadership and for service delivery only.

They must also consider inputs from the non aligned citizens.

Further government has created layers of red tape and blockages in the service delivery chain. They have councilors to satisfy, then it's their forums and then the different boards. All these have one channel of taking down service delivery and bringing up civil society challenges.

If you have a body at the bottom that would not research, uneducated, has no industry and cooperate experience as a forum leader or ward councilor or mayor what quality inputs and proposal would he or she bring up. Nothing all he will do is to sleep and wait for benefit, steal and destroy in the crave for money.

If you recognize diverse constituencies on the ground and consult them and consider their roles and inputs you would make up for the party's lack in general.

Forums create an unnecessary layer of service delivery because they keep the gates in order to get employment for themselves, families, chommies, just as well as tenders and all opportunities.

When it comes to voting only those few who have benefited must then vote. Then you have lower numbers who would turn out to vote, because only a handful have seen service delivery, employment and empowerment.

So when you defend empowerment initiatives such bbeee, funding for projects we on the ground open our eyes wide and say 'who benefits " it's useless this BBBEE or funding initiatives because the government, the parties have their own people.

Don't force everyone into politics, forums before they can benefit from the economic benefits of this country.

Stop blacklisting people because they are auditing and blowing the whistle against wrongs on society and cooperate world.

  2. There is another imbalance that has been created by regional poverty. This is that of locality. This locality must be looked at thoroughly and must be balance.

There are certain areas that do not have any industries, mines or chain stores. They survive through grants and government subsidies.

100kms there is some economic activity though not enough to absorb every unemployed person.

What happens is that there are areas that become worse off over time.

Another issue is that of foreign aid meant for NPOs. This one has to be communicated out transparently. Again this is another that is hijacked by comrades worse from the Municipalities like the HIV Aids money and others. There are programmes that are channeled via municipalities to benefit NPOs but are accessed by those close to officials.

  4. The rich Mineral Wealth of the Country must benefit the people. That's the only way to eradicate poverty. The minerals belong to the people and governance is just a custodian. MINERALS must not benefit the selected few.
