Well, I believe exactly what the mayor of Chicago said, it was obviously a housing problem, affordable housing problem so DC solved their affordable housing problem and that’s what made the crime go away. When I was a teenager I vacationed in DC. We walked EVERYWHERE! At no point did I feel unsafe. I saw the filthiness and some protesters but it was still safe. It’s our capital. It should ALWAYS be protected
When I was a kid we had a meth problem in my small neighborhood in Hawaii. They put a police substation at the strip mall down the street. They did this in every little community that had an issue with crime. It worked but this was 40 years ago before democrats really messed up Hawaii to the extent it is now.
Chicago is a shithole now! It's horrific. They need the national guard more than anyone.

Matter not color you are , most of us want to feel safe, don not want the stores raided, should not have fear from walking around and fear for our childrens life. Lived in DC for years. Don’t even go downtown at night now bc garages close at 7 pm due to teenage car jackings unchecked. It’s ridiculous punks running the city with cartels.
