  1. This is a smoke and mirror show to make it look like they're doing something just to appease Trump, while insulting everyone's intelligence at the same time.

Don't get me wrong. This perpetually angry, racist Mugabe wanna-be is guilty of far more than just hate speech, but because he's a politician, LARPing as a freedom fighter, South Africa will burn long before he ever sees the inside of a prison cell.

Just ask Yengeni, Shaik and Zuma how effective our court systems are.

  2. He will say they discriminate against him and do not allow him freedom of speech. Strange that white people go to jail for saying bad things about blacks, but when a Julius discriminates and uses hate speech, it is his right as a freedom fighter. He belongs in jail, and all those culprits who support him.

  3. Oh so a politician preaching hate is rightfully imprisoned in South Africa huh?

A far cry from the blatantly racist politicians in America who are able to throw blatantly racist gestures and stay in office…

Especially when they spread lies about other countries showing articles from other countries as "evidence" for their conspiracy theories

  4. It's just white people trying to get him on something but can't get them on anything else so they get them on something he said back in the day even though white people created apartheid but they're still living and working in that country what about them what punishment have they received?

  5. Whenever a Black Man stands up for his people, his enemies will always find a way to put him down, his beeing falsely sentenced by the law for having a backbone to fight, if he was a racoon or a corrupt sellout like Ramaphosa, the descendants of the White colonizers would've loved him, the South African judge that sentenced Malema, is foolish for prossecuting the last hope for the country.

  6. Julius malema is just as corrupt as the corrupt ramaphosa communist anc politicians they are all thugs, but i know something that nobody else does, these thugs hour glass is running empty very fast !

  7. Imagine Malema leading the country, no respect, a pathetic lier, very rude and very confused, today he is Mandela, the next Oliver Tambo, a day after the other Kwame Nkruma when are you going to be yourself a real flip floper

  8. He is no more hateful than the white people who have killed and enslave and tortured and stole from blacks. We need to do to them what they have done to us. Separation from them is the key

  9. Wrong understanding of the law. Malema was never found “guilty” of hate speech. He was found liable and can never be jailed under the current liability decision. The entire 119 paragraphs judgment does not mention the word “guilty”. The reason is because the Equality Court does not apply the “guilty test” in its proceedings. It uses the l liability test based on probabilities. It also does not use the “Sentencing” term. These terms (sentencing, guilty and accused) are reserved for criminal proceedings in a criminal court. Hate speech falls under civil matters where the penalty is an Order of court to pay something to the complainant. You dont find the respondent “guilty” for a complaint. You find the respondent “liable”. Therefore, Malema is not “guilty” of hate speech. Leave our brother alone. He is fighting the cancer of racism, not whites. If you touch him you touch us. We have no problem with white people. But the smell of racism will be confronted swiftly wherever it re-surfaces.

  10. As I explained earlier. Malema is not “guilty”. I studied law in South Africa and I understand the judicial proceedings there better. The process is the same as in my country Namibia. Once again, leave Malema alone.
