Mozambique’s most wanted kidnapping kingpin killed in police shootout in Kempton Park

Police have killed Mozambique’s most wanted kidnapping kingpin in a shootout on Wednesday night.

An Indian businessman who was abducted by a kidnapper in July 2025 is still missing.

Police say the kingpin was found with South African and Mozambican identity documents.

National police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe says police managed to trace the suspect to Kempton Park.

She says the kingpin then rammed his car into a police vehicle when he was cornered and a shootout ensued.

  1. The ANC let them in, Kempton has become Little Nigeria all courtesy of open borders. The ANC created this, they created the TAXI mafia, they have created a crime run country. You don't get criminals to fix crime….this is as always a fluff piece to keep the masses eyes away from the real truth. Now like seals clap and say, well done SAPS for cleaning up 0.0001% of the mess you made.
