This week, President Trump announced he will be sending National Guard troops to Memphis, Tennessee. He says it’s to clamp down on crime. Tennessee State Rep. Justin J. Pearson represents parts of Memphis and says that the administration has done nothing to address the root causes of crime and explains why “we should all be terrified by what we are seeing.”
