Mkhwanazi also sharply criticised South Africa’s justice system. He questioned how the same courts that issue arrest warrants also grant bail to repeat offenders, citing the case of Fisokuhle Ntuli, one of the accused in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.
Ntuli, a convicted hitman, was released on bail despite multiple charges, only to allegedly commit further crimes.
Mkhwanazi warned that such decisions undermine public safety and erode trust in the justice system.

The constitution only strips off the right to freedom for someone who has been convicted or found to have committed an offence.
How he or she lives in prison is entrenched and protected by the very constitution
