  4. WHAT FAKE NEWS :
Mahindra has been exporting its vehicles to South Africa since it entered the South African market in 2004. The company initially launched the Mahindra Bolero and Scorpio SUV in South Africa that year, quickly gaining popularity. The launch marked the beginning of Mahindra's journey and presence in the South African automotive landscape. Subsequently, Mahindra established a local assembly facility in Durban in 2018 to strengthen its commitment to the market and increase local production.
