Trump’s ESCALATING boat strikes: Timeline of lethal force in the Caribbean, alienating allies

In less than two months, President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth say the U.S. military has killed 34 people in nine strikes against drug-smuggling vessels in the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean. Colombian President Gustavo Petro accused the U.S. of murdering a Colombian fisherman after Trump ordered military strikes. In response, Trump enacted tariffs against Colombia, cut U.S. aid and called Petro “an illegal drug leader.” The strikes of South America are raising concerns in a variety of quarters from former officials in Republican and Democratic administrations. Sen. Paul Rand R-Ky and Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, voted for a Democratic resolution that would have blocked the U.S. military from engaging in “hostilities within or against Venezuela that have not been authorized by Congress.” The resolution failed in a 48-51 vote, largely along party lines. “This was murder on the high seas. The United States military carried out an illegal order,” says national security reporter Spencer Ackerman.

  1. IN the same way effect of sanctions on this economy was not considered before embarking on this reckless activity…… is HEGSETH also protected by immunity?? what about the adverse impact on the CARIBBEAN REGION?

  2. I think all it is is that freaking person is a racist he never proved 0:55 the first election was stolen. Where is the proof now he does what he’s doing and he hasn’t proved anything leaders should demand proof.

  3. “US destabilization which has led millions of people fleeing Venezuela” REALLY!?

9 million Venezuelans have fled Venezuela because US sanctions, not because of an oppressing socialist dictatorship.

We are watching and won’t forget those who stand with us supporting liberty, and those who decided to turned away and support the dictatorship.

  4. I'm pleased that news channels like this are courageous and honest enough to criticise these actions, and call them what they are: 'extrajudicial killing'.

  5. I think the International Court in The Hague should investigate Trump for his unlawfulness. Put him in the same category as Putin. Putin would like that.

  6. Trump is exhibiting an increase in his delusions. He is dangerous and must be removed before he does irreparable damage. The White House staff must step in now, before more lives are lost in the Caribbean. Rubio must stop protecting him and must stop Trump’s use of lethal force.

  7. Rubio needs to be removed also for war crimes yes the failed Democrat Rubio, the Cuban that decided that immigrants don’t need to come to America just him he’s special but the rest of the Brown people no no they can’t come to America

  8. Murder,
    Non-international armed conflicts

The rule is based on common Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions, which prohibits “violence to life and person, in particular murder of all kinds” against persons placed hors de combat.[11] This prohibition is repeated in Additional Protocol II, which adds that “it is prohibited to order that there shall be no survivors”.[12] In addition, this rule is contained in other instruments pertaining also to non-international armed conflicts.[13]
Military manuals which are applicable in or have been applied in non-international armed conflicts prohibit attacks against persons recognized as hors de combat.[14] Such attacks are also defined as a war crime in the legislation of a number of States.[15] The rule has been applied in national case-law.[16] It is supported by official statements and other practice.[17]

Even to identify an organization a terrorists a leadership structure must be identified.
People that belong to that organization must be identified.
Military are violating their manual of laws of war

  10. Traditionally, heads of state are not imortalized on coins unless they are monarchs, or until after their deaths. So either tRump thinks he's a king, or the US mint has been grossly misled about the state of his health.

  11. What gives trump Authority to bomb ships in the ocean Not knowing who they are or have Any proof of what they are doing Marco Rubio is a Flunky just like maga mike & alcoholic hegseth they're justifying murdering people this's entire republican administration Must be voted out!!

  12. So if we end up going to war by striking on land in Venezuela then that means that a lot of children babies, mothers fathers are going to be killed so that is just wrong😢!

  13. Trump says he hasn't declared war on Venezuela because Trump would be guilty of war crimes, unaliving innocent fisherman on fishing boats. But even if this is not a war crime this " IS " terrorism conducted by Trump and the US Military. The UN & the International Court should be indicting Trump, the Republican Administration and the US Military with International Terrorism

  14. This unconstitutional Administration is unqualified and will be removed.
This unconstitutional Trump have America"s Classified information and took action with out the Supreme Court?~This Administration is illegal unqualified and will be Penalized hand cuffed and jailed .
You can't make this stuff up.
    Don't need to impeach Trump
    Trump will be removed.
    It's already too late
