የአሁኑ ምርጫ አዲስ በተዘጋጀው ሕገመንግሥት መሠረት የሚካሄድ ሲሆን፣ ምንም እንኳን ወታደራዊው መሪ በምርጫው እንደሚሳተፉ ባያሳውቁም ሕጉ መወዳደር እንዲችሉ ፈቅዶላቸዋል።
