Hurricane Melissa is “as extreme as it gets on Earth”, experts have warned, in the hours before the megastorm bulldozes the Caribbean.
Seven people have died so far in the fierce winds, and locals are braced for much worse devastation when the epicentre strikes Jamaica later this morning.
