  1. Repent to JESUS CHRIST as your Lord and Savior!!!!!!! Part 3

    For it is written

    James 1

1James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,

To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations:

    Greetings.

    Trials and Temptations

2Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

9Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position. 10But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wild flower. 11For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich will fade away even while they go about their business.

12Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

13When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

16Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. 17Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. 18He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

    Listening and Doing

19My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

22Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

26Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. 27Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

    James 5

    Patience in Suffering

7 Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.

8 You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.

9 Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!

10 Brothers and sisters, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.

11 As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

12 Above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear—not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. All you need to say is a simple “Yes” or “No.” Otherwise you will be condemned.

    1 Peter 1:6-7

6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

    1 Peter 2:19-21

19 For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because they are conscious of God. 20 But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. 21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.

    1 Peter 3

17 For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

    1 Peter 5:10

10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

    Hebrews 10:32

32 Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you endured in a great conflict full of suffering.

    Philippians 2:10-11

9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,

that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

    Psalms 119:71

71 It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.

    Psalms 119:50

50 My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.

    Romans 8:28

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

    Romans 14:11

11 It is written: “ ‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’ ”

    Romans 12

    A Living Sacrifice

1Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Humble Service in the Body of Christ

3For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. 4For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

    Love in Action

9Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

14Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

17Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. 20On the contrary:

    “If your enemy is hungry, feed him;

if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.

In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”

21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Luke 9:23 23 Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.

    2 Timothy 2:3

3 Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

    1 Samuel 12:24

24 But be sure to fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.

    1 Thessalonians 5:18

18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

  2. Repent to JESUS CHRIST as your Lord and Savior!!!!!!! Part 2

    For it is written

    1 Peter 4

    Suffering for Being a Christian

12 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.

13 But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.

14 If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

15 If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler.

16 However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.

17 For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

18 And, “If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”

19 So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

    Romans 5:3-7

    3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;

4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.

5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.

    Romans 6:22

22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

    Romans 8:18-39`

    Present Suffering and Future Glory

18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.

20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope

21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.

22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.

23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.

24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have?

25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

    More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.

34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,

39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  3. Repent to JESUS CHRIST as your Lord and Savior!!!!!!!

    For it is written

    Matthew 28:18

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

    Daniel 2:37

    37 Your Majesty, you are the king of kings. The God of heaven has given you dominion and power and might and glory;

    Psalm 115

3Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him.

    Romans 9

18 Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.

19 One of you will say to me: “Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?”

20 But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’ ”

21 Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?

22 What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction?

23 What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory—

24 even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?

25 As he says in Hosea: “I will call them ‘my people’ who are not my people; and I will call her ‘my loved one’ who is not my loved one,”

26 and, “In the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘children of the living God.’ ”

27 Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the Israelites be like the sand by the sea, only the remnant will be saved.

28 For the Lord will carry out his sentence on earth with speed and finality.”

29 It is just as Isaiah said previously: “Unless the Lord Almighty had left us descendants, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been like Gomorrah.”

    Hebrews 3:4

4 For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.

    Nahum 1:3

    3 The Lord is slow to anger but great in power;

the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished.

His way is in the whirlwind and the storm,

and clouds are the dust of his feet.

    Ecclesiastes 3:1

1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:

    Ezekiel 13:13

13 “ ‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: In my wrath I will unleash a violent wind, and in my anger hailstones and torrents of rain will fall with destructive fury.

    Job 9:5

5 He moves mountains without their knowing it and overturns them in his anger.

    Jeremiah 25:37

37 The peaceful meadows will be laid waste because of the fierce anger of the LORD.

    Psalm 85:3

3 You set aside all your wrath and turned from your fierce anger.

    Ecclesiastes 5:17

17 All their days they eat in darkness, with great frustration, affliction and anger.

    Job 4:9

9 At the breath of God they perish; at the blast of his anger they are no more.

    Job 37:13

13 He brings the clouds to punish people, or to water his earth and show his love.

    Psalm 104:19

19 He made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down.

    Psalm 147:4

4 He determines the number of the stars

and calls them each by name.

    5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power;

    his understanding has no limit.

    2 Samuel 22:10

10 He parted the heavens and came down; dark clouds were under his feet.

    Psalms 104:20

20 You bring darkness, it becomes night, and all the beasts of the forest prowl.

    Psalms 97:2

2 Clouds and thick darkness surround him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

    Isaiah 45:7

7 I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do all these things.

    Revelation 1:8

8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

    John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

    Jeremiah 51:15

15 “He made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding.

    Psalms 9:8-9

8 He rules the world in righteousness and judges the peoples with equity.9 let them sing before the LORD, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples with equity.

    Psalms 24:1

    Of David. A psalm.

    1 The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;

    Psalms 33:8

8 Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the people of the world revere him.

    Exodus 23:21

21 Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my Name is in him.

    Jeremiah 7:23

23 but I gave them this command: Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in obedience to all I command you, that it may go well with you.

  4. I don't care how strong that hurricane is, Im from the Caribbean as well and know the importance of being prepared and being in a well built home. Jamaicans who are left to go through a category 5 hurricane in a tin roof and wooden house is seriously negligent on the part of the government. They should have had people who are vulnerable to be in either hotels or other safe places. The government who does not prioritises setting aside this for their people is failing them and to watch as people get killed which could have been avoided is seriously alarming.

  5. Truly heartbreaking — I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed anything so devastating. I still haven’t been able to reach my family in the southern part of St. James Parish, where the eye of the storm passed directly through.

  6. The eyes in the sky don’t lie! Total destruction in certain areas. Excellent footage of the real impact! Thanks for sharing. Biggest problem is where is the help going to come from? US should bear none getting aid and help to our Jamaican neighbors! If we can send all the millions and billions to Ukraine and Isreal during war efforts, surely we can double that to Jamaica whose deviation came from this unprecedented natural disaster! Trump and congress get busy! This is a no brainer! They will definitely need military support as well as civil unrest is sure to begin soon! Eyes of the world are on you! Every piece of help has to come from off the island 🏝️! A minimum plan should already be put in place knowing the deviation was to come! 😢

  7. NB all this andrew to blame for a lot of people he never let the people clean the drain the huspital was never look at tufton never do notting he never fix them p. In ten years he did notting.please dont send notting to andrew the jlp if you give him the pnp will get notting

  8. In these situations it's good to remember that God causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous(Mathew 5:45). So NO Jamaica was not hit by an angry, judgemental God for one reason or another. Natural disasters are just that "Natural". They run on automatic just like the sun rises everyday. God does have the power to tighten the screws, or loosen the screws on natural disasters, but usually he does not get involved.

Now the Ancient kingdom of Israel had a "convenant" with God, meaning that things went good if they kept the convenant and things went downhill when they didn't. However, I'm not aware of Jamaica, Haiti, or Cuba having any type of convenant with God ? In 2016 the southern coast of Haiti got hit with 145 mph hurricane that killed 800 people. They have since bounced back, so I'm pretty sure that Jamaica will bounce back just as quickly if not faster.

  9. Prayers for JAMICA well the Caribbeans and NEW ORLEANS I steel have trauma from that hits me especially when I see a New Orleans Black Indian working honestly to support their community ⚜️🇯🇲🇺🇸🇯🇲⚜️
