On Wednesday, President Donald Trump suggested that the U.S. will restart nuclear weapons testing, a move that would be a substantial departure from decades of American policy. Trump made the comments on Truth Social, saying he ordered the Defense Department to begin testing immediately. The U.S. last conducted a nuclear test in 1992.
Dozens are dead after Hurricane Melissa caused widespread destruction across Cuba, Haiti and Jamaica. Melissa made landfall Tuesday in Jamaica as one of the strongest Atlantic hurricanes on record, before weakening and moving on to Cuba and Haiti.
And President Donald Trump will lower tariff rates on imports of Chinese goods from 57% to 47% after talks with Chinese leader Xi Jinping in South Korea. Xi said Washington and Beijing would work to finalize their agreements.

With the condition of this world and with Putin having basically gone mad, this is a very good idea. During the great peace agreement with Russia’s Mikhail Gorbachev and Reagan, nuclear weapons were curtailed. Gorbachev, shortly before his death in 2022, bemoaned that Putin was destroying all the work he had done toward world peace and disarmament.

I'm like most of you I don't want nuclear weapons testing but I think it's important that our president show our strength unfortunately nuclear weapons cannot be put back in the box on Pandora's box is open it it's open so we need wise leaders to deter war through strength.
